Located in the Olkirimatian Conservancy in the South Rift Valley, adjacent to the Shompole conservation area, Lentorre Lodge is a small and elegant facility which provides the perfect spot to relax and soak in the wonders of a wild and untouched Africa.
Comprising of six large villas that hold either a double or twin bed configuration, a family villa and a honeymoon villa, the lodge has a maximum capacity of just 16 guests. Each villa is a separate, stand-alone structure with an un-spoilt view of the wilderness looking towards Shompole Mountain. Each villa has its own dedicated plunge pool, incredible power shower and some have a luxurious bathtub.
For bookings of five or more people, guests enjoy exclusive use of the lodge with staff giving full attention to that one group’s safari experience.
The extreme diversity in the area is completely unique giving guests access to: savannah plains with thick bush, a fig and tamarind tree forest with huge tree canopies inhabited by around nine Colobus families, the salt lakes of Magadi and Natron, virtually guaranteeing flamingo viewing and lots of other water birds, salt pans and great Rift Valley vistas, the Ewaso Ngiro river, stunning for evening sundowners or just an afternoon with chairs in the river reading a book or watching the livestock come to drink at various watering points, magnificent views of the escarpment and mountains in the distance, authentic cultural activities designed around the group dynamics, from walking cows to their boma, spectacular dances with warriors and ladies from the area which are mostly done on the river site with sundowners, a large fire and bush dinners.
Lentorre Lodge offers an all-inclusive, private getaway that allows guests to enjoy an authentic safari experience in the lap of luxury. Hidden deep in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, Lentorre caters for any kind of holiday – whether it be a family getaway, honeymoon or a simple break from everyday life. The lodge provides unspoilt views of the Nguruman Escarpment and unrivalled experiences of the surrounding nature and wildlife.
All these exciting activities pale in comparison to the sightings you’ll see on day and night game drives. Comfortable rides in the custom-made safari vehicles are coupled with striking views of endless blue skies, sprawling grassland and majestic mountain ranges. Expect to tick giraffe, elephant, lions, leopards, cheetah, vervet monkeys and many more off your game-viewing list when exploring the Great Rift Valley.
