The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille

The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille

The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille consists of four private houses, each of which are taken on an exclusive basis and come fully staffed and with a private guide and game vehicle. The houses are different sizes so there is a house to suit every need.

The Chief’s House commands a spectacular view with three bedrooms, a main living and dining area and a small plunge pool on the deck.

The Colonel’s house has two double bedrooms, and is very colonial in style with a small plunge pool and a cosy living room with an open fire.

Sultan’s House has just one double bedroom and thus is perfect for honeymooners wanting a secluded retreat – the house is decorated with Swahili accents and has a spacious living and dining area, all with incredible views over the valleys.

The Eyrie is the most spectacular of the four houses; perched on the top of a kopje, it has incredible views over the entire conservancy. Designed eclectically with hints of contemporary Africa, the Eyrie has a circular bedroom, complete with a circular bed!

All safari activities are private per villa

Sirai House

The house sleeps 12 guests in six suites spread across four cottages and available for exclusive use only. The minimum stay is 3 nights.

The Master Suite has its own heated plunge pool, suite 2 stands alone while Suites 3 and 4 are linked by a sitting room, as are Suites 5 and 6, making them ideal for families.

Governors’ Mugie House

Governors’ Mugie House

Set on a private conservancy, Mugie House offers a myriad of activities by which to explore and enjoy its vast open landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Perched on a hill are nine individual stone cottages, each with sweeping views of the Laikipia landscape. A large main house with open log fires will host guests for relaxing cocktails and scrumptious meals, prepared from a creative menu with ingredients sourced from our own vegetable garden. An infinity pool offers lovely shaded areas and a casual alfresco dining area, while a large waterhole set in front of Mugie House attracts a variety of wildlife.

There are eight individual cottages including one Family Cottage which has its own private living room and pool. Children of all ages are welcome here, while the private and secluded layout of the rooms means that couples can enjoy their own space and time, on their own terms.

Guests can experience both night and day game drives on Mugie Conservancy, sundowners, picnics, bush walks, an insight into the anti-poaching and wildlife tracking units as well as a round of golf!
