Day 7 to 9: Masai Mara

Your days in the Masai Mara begin early, when the wilderness is at its most active. Wake to freshly brewed coffee before setting out on a sunrise game drive in search of the Big Five and the Mara’s abundant wildlife. The cooler morning hours are particularly rewarding, as predators may still be hunting while elephants, giraffes, antelope and other wildlife move across the open plains.

Return to camp for a leisurely breakfast and spend the middle of the day relaxing. Enjoy the swimming pool, unwind at camp or simply take in the beautiful views of the surrounding wilderness. In the afternoon, you may head out for another game drive or enjoy a Maasai cultural experience, offering an opportunity to learn about the traditions, heritage and daily life of the local Maasai community.

For an unforgettable finale to your stay, you may choose to experience a hot-air balloon safari on your final morning in the Masai Mara. Rise before dawn and float silently above the savannah as the sun rises over the plains, watching wildlife from a completely different perspective before returning to continue your day in the Mara.
