Ololo Safari Lodge

The Emakoko

The Emakoko is a boutique lodge uniquely positioned on the edge of the Nairobi National Park. It is located a short 45 minute drive from either of Nairobi’s airports. The drive through the park itself, with its beautiful scenery and abundance of plains game is a superb way to start any East African safari. What better way to start a holiday by supporting the conservation of this unique area and in particular, by supporting the endangered Black Rhino which are prolific in this park.

Nairobi Tented Camp

Sala’s Camp is a tented camp that combines tradition with comfort and it’s a model of understated, intimate luxury. Sala’s Camp offers space, comfort and great views as well as an amazing safari experience. The camp can accommodate up to 18 guests in seven luxury tents including a spacious honeymoon tent, which can also accommodate a family of up to four.

Deep within a riverine forest minutes from Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Wilson Airport and Nairobi City is a true wilderness experience. It is the first accommodation of any sort to be allowed in this unique safari destination. The Nairobi Tented Camp is the only camp in the Nairobi National Park. The Nairobi National Park is a unique ecosystem by being the only protected area in the world close to a capital city. The park is located only 7 km from Nairobi city centre.

Nairobi Kenya

Sitting at the edge of Kenya’s capital city, a short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district is Nairobi National Park. The wide open grass plains with scattered acacia bush and a backdrop of the city scrapers play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, buffalos, giraffes and diverse birdlife. The best times to view the animals are at dawn or dusk.
